Next Monday, January 18th, is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
I hope you are able to take some time in your classroom and honor this great man and his mission.
Here a few really great resources that I like to use in my classroom. I hope you find them useful too!
Check them out!
They are just perfect for primary classrooms, in my opinion.
The first one is straight from Kid President. I LOVE this little guy! #suchaninspiration #wisebeyondhisyears
This is an EXCELLENT video, as well, teaching about
Martin Luther King, Jr.. Take a few minutes to view it!

Another excellent resource you can use to teach the
value of diversity this MLK day, is this book:
The book has an excellent theme!
It teaches us that like a box of crayons, we are all different but together we make a beautiful picture.
If you don't have a copy of the book, consider using this awesome little video....
In the words of Robert Fulghum, "We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others are bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box."
Blessings and peace to you all!
